The SkiZinal chalet 'Edelweiss' is in the hamlet of Mottec at the foot of the Piste de Chamois, two kilometres before Zinal.
Geneva is the nearest major airport. From there it's 2 hours by car, 3 hours by train/bus. By road it's motorway to Sierre at the bottom of the valley, then 30 scenic minutes to our door.
Online timetables/booking for trains and buses, including journeys originating outside Switzerland; trains from Geneva leave from beneath the arrivals hall (you can ride the escalator to the platform with your trolley); buses from Sierre connect with trains to bring you the final few kilometres to our door. Within the Val d'Anniviers, the regular buses and dedicated ski buses are free during winter to link the main resorts throughout the valley.
Out of hours or for a quick transfer from Sierre, Sion or Geneva, the local taxi service has a range of vehicles to suit all group sizes. Good value as long as you're not travelling alone.
